NDA Application Form

National Defence Academy (NDA) is known as the cadets hub of India as it is the only tri-service academy in the world. The main objective behind NDA is to prepare candidates for all three armed forces: the Indian Army, the Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force. The candidates get training in the NDA before being transferred to their actual training. The NDA Application Form will be released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). What is NDA?

UPSC conducts the NDA exam for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA. The NDA exam allows candidates to join Defence forces, including Air, Army, and Navy forces. NDA Entrance Test 2022

NDA (2) Application Form

UPSC will be releasing the application form for participating in the NDA (2) entrance test on 18 May 2022 on its website. Students who are aspiring to appear in the exam must fill the form before the last date as no applications will be accepted by the authorities after the last date.

All applicants will be required to fill out the form with the correct details as required and listed in the guidelines released along with the form. For the submission of the form, students will have to submit scanned images of all the documents that are listed as required for the form submission.

NDA Age Limit 2022

For students aspiring to fill out the NDA form 2022, it is necessary that they complete the age limitations listed for form submission. The NDA Age Limit 2022 is listed below:

  • At the time of NDA online form submission, the applicant's age must be between 16.5 years to 19.5 years.
  • The applicant for NDA form 2022 must have been born before 01 January 2006 and after 02 January 2003.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA 

For filling the admission application form of the aspirants to appear in the NDA exam are listed below:

  • The applying candidate should have the nationality of India.
  • The candidate's minimum age at the time of the application form submission should be 16.5 years, and the maximum age for applying to the NDA application form 2022 is 19.5 years.
  • The minimum qualification required for applying to the NDA application form is a 10+2 class or an equivalent qualification.
  • No candidate will be allowed to apply for admission after the maximum age limit.

  • Visit the National Defense Academy (NDA) official website to submit the application form - upsc.gov.in.
  • On the homepage of the official website, the candidates will have to visit the what's new section of the page. By clicking on that link, the candidate will be redirected to a new page to get the notification for NDA admission 2022.
  • By selecting the notification for NDA 2022, the candidate will get the application form for NDA 2022 part-1.
  • Fill and submit the application form part-1 appropriately and ensure that every detail mentioned on the application form is correct to every measure.
  • After submitting the NDA application part-1, the candidates will have to select the NDA application from the part-2 registration link.
  • Pay the application fee for the NDA exam. The application fee for the general and OBC categories candidates is Rs. 100 and the women, SC/ST category candidates are exempted from the application fee. 
  • Choose the exam centre for the NDA exam.
  • Submit the scanned images and all the required documents to compile the submission for the NDA application form.
  • After submitting all the required documents, the candidate must first download the preview of the application form and check that all the details are mentioned correctly. Once the details are confirmed, the candidate should select the submission button to submit the NDA application form 2022.

What if the payment for the NDA application form 2022 is denied/error in submission?

Once the application form for the NDA is closed, the UPSC releases the list of candidates whose application fee has not been submitted or reached the commission. UPSC announces the list of the candidates by the name "NDA fictitious fee list." All the candidates who have got their names on that list must submit the proof for the submission of the application fee to the Under Secretary (NDA). The candidates will be required to send the fee submission details within 10 days of the announcement of the list. The UPSC accepts the cases where the candidates are able to provide genuine reasons for not submitting the application fee.

How to withdraw NDA Application Form 2022?

If any candidate feels like not appearing in the NDA exam after submitting the application form and wants to withdraw their names from the applicant's list. The steps to withdraw NDA Application Form 2022 are listed below:

  • Visit the official website of NDA - upsc.gov.in
  • The candidate will have to select the link stating "NDA Application Form" to withdraw from the NDA exam.
  • An OTP will be sent on the contact details provided by the candidate at the submission of the application form. The OTP can be sent to either mobile no or the email id.
  • Select the option for the withdrawal of the NDA application from 2022.
  • Once the request is accepted, the candidate can download the confirmation detail of withdrawal of the NDA Application Form 2022.

Exam Centers for NDA 2022

While submitting the NDA Application Form 2022, the candidates are given the option of selecting the exam centre of their preference. The NDA exams are conducted in various exam centres allotted according to the requirement in the city. UPSC selects the exam centres based on the number of applicants who have opted for the examination. Once selected, the exam centres for NDA 2022 cannot be changed; therefore, candidates should select the exam centre carefully.
