Lucknow University, Affiliated Colleges are closed till January 30

The physical education classes at the University of Lucknow and its affiliated colleges have been suspended until January 30. Considering the COVID-19 situation in the state, the university took this decision following a government order. The university started that all teaching-learning activities would be conducted online in its release.

In a recent announcement, the Uttar Pradesh government said it would further close all educational institutions in the state until January 30. As a result of the state government's order on January 5, all schools and colleges in the state were shut until January 16 and extended until January 23. Schools can continue offering courses online while they are closed.

The number of active COVID-19 cases is 95,866 in a given state. As of the end of October, 17,97,728 recovery actions had been taken by law enforcement in the state. Twenty-three thousand twenty-two deaths had been recorded since the start of the year.
