Diploma in Pharmacy admission seats to be increased due to pandemic

Due to Covid -19 for the last 2 to 1.5 years, the pharmaceutical and medicine sector has recorded a high demand due to pandemics and other reasons. Therefore for admission in the academic year 2021-22, the pharmacy sector has seen a growth of a very high level in comparison to the previous years. As per the records in Pune, 100% of the total Diploma in Pharmacy seats has seen admission for this year.

According to the latest data of the state Common Entrance Test(CET) for the academic year 2021-22, there were 30,049 seats for admission to the D-Pharmacy course is almost 460 pharmacy institutions. First time in history, this is the first time that the admissions for the pharmacy course have been 100%.

After Students complete a pharmacy diploma, they get a legal license to start their medical store or company. Due to Covid-19, we have seen huge demand for medical stores for the last two years. Also, medical companies are hiring candidates for their firm, for which the basic qualification is D-Pharmacy course .
