• The B.Tech program is based on the applicant’s performance in MHT CET organized by DTE Maharashtra.
• Students are shortlisted based on the GATE score for the M.Tech program.
• Applicants selection to MCA & MBA courses is based on the score which valid in MAH MCA CET and MAH MBA CET on the respective basis.
• MA and M.Sc. admission is on the basis of merit but for specific specializations in M.Sc, SGBAU organizing and conducting a different kind of specific course examination at entry-level.
• For M.Ed. and M.P.Ed courses, the admission is offered based on the marks in CET organized and supervised as well as conducted by DTE.
• LL.M and LI.m admission is based on the performance MAH LAW CET which is supervised and conducted by DTE.
• LL.M and LL.B. admission on performance basis in MAH LAW CET organized and supervised by DTE.
• Ph.D. and M.Phil admissions are offered based on the performance of the applicants (PET ) Ph.D. Entrance after which the interview is followed.
• CSIR NET/ GATE/ SLET/ JRF/ GATE or examination which is equivalent for the aspirants who are set apart from PET.

PLACEMENT : SGBAU has placement which is 100% and 80-90% of students got placement. When colleges provide a placement which is 100% and the students are required to cracking the interview. The majority of companies are visiting the campus are one of the Jindal Poly Films. The package which is average is 3 LPA.

 SGBAU INTERNSHIP : SGBAU is providing internship to the students and the majority of students who want to do the internship in the previous semester of engineering. The stipend is not provided for that.
