PUP PG Admission 2025

Some of the courses offered at Punjabi University distance education are MBA, MCom, MLISc, MA in Religious Studies and Journalism & Mass Communication, and MSc in IT. The duration of the academic PG specialized course is 2 years with 4 semesters. Students opting for any postgraduate courses shall pay an amount of INR 500. However, students applying for an MBA program have to deposit INR 1500. 50% aggregate marks scored in graduation in any discipline from a recognized university are required to take admission. The tuition fee for the PG level courses is between INR 9440 to INR 27360.

PUP Diploma Admission 2025

Library Science, Divinity, Conflict Resolution, Criminology, and Police Administration are some of the disciplines offered under the advanced diploma program at Punjabi University through distance education. The period for completing advanced diploma courses is 1 year. The last date to submit the online application is 25 March 2025*. Students can apply by visiting the PUP official website once the online registration portal starts for the session 2025-26. 

Students who are interested in pursuing advanced diploma courses must pass UG courses from a relevant discipline. A minimum of 45% marks is required to get admission in diploma courses. The registration fee for the advanced diploma course is INR 500. The fee structure for diploma courses is around INR 5935 to INR 16935.

PUP Certificate Admission 2024

Specializations are offered under certificate courses at Punjabi University such as Questioned Documents & Fingerprint Analysis and Gyani. Certificate specialized program generally lasts for 6 months. Merit-based admissions are offered for certificate courses at PUPDDE. It’s mandatory to pass matriculation/higher secondary examination or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board. A registration fee needed to be paid is INR 500. INR 6000 to INR 12000 is a total course fee for Certificate program.

PUP Distance Education Fee Structure 

A candidate seeking admission in any of the courses is required to pay a practical fee as per university rules. One who is applying for admission through online mode can pay through Card Payment, NEFT, Net Banking, Mobile Transfer, UPI, etc. It is required to

submit full tuition Fee, examination fee and other charges along with the admission form. Any candidate who does not pay the full fee, shall be charged Rs. 270 as penalty. Total tuition fees for candidates who have registered with Punjabi University distance education ranges for Rs 8670 to 28000. If an applicant chooses to withdraw his application for admission, the fees paid by him/her will be refunded as per UGC/Punjabi University rules. Punjabi University Distance Education ABC ID

Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID is a new initiative started by the NEP (National Education Policy) 2020 guidelines. This initiative was started to help students store the academic credits scored by them in any higher education qualification. This card will store the student’s academic data such as degrees, certificates, training, class work etc. as a credit that students can transfer or redeem from one institution to another. One can create an Academic Bank of Credit (ABC ID) by visiting the DigiLocker portal. The steps are as follows: 

Step 1: To begin with, open any browser and navigate to Digilocker official website. 

Step 2: Click on Sign In (for those who have already created an account), enter Mobile Number, User Name, Aadhaar Number (any) and 6 Digit Security PIN then click on Next/Sign In button.

Step 3: New users click on the sign up button, once the registration form prompts make sure to enter the details including full name, date of birth, mobile number, email id, create a new password and then click on the ‘submit’ button.

Step 4: Enter the OTP (both mobile and Aadhaar) to verify your account and click the submit button.

Step 5: Once you’re logged in to the dashboard, click on the button labeled “Search document” “and type ABC ID and search.”

Step 6: Now, enter admission and ID details like year of admission, Identity type, Identity value and institution name etc.
