19-01-2021: Bangalore University: Classes for 1st, 2nd-year degree, engineering understudies to open after Sankranti

Bangalore University: The state government has chosen to resume schools for the first and second year of the degree, PG certificate, and engineering courses not long after Makara Sankranti on January 14. With this, colleges in the city are set to welcome back in excess of 3 lakh understudies nearby.

Classes were restarted for conclusive year degree understudies on November 17 and like those rules, first-year and second-year degree understudies will likewise be given a decision to proceed with online classes, official sources said.

This choice was taken at a gathering of vice president serve CN Ashwathnarayan and vice-chancellors and recorders of the colleges on Friday. Ashwathnarayan is additionally the priest for advanced education.

He said classes for conclusive year understudies were continuing easily and school specialists indicated moment eagerness to restart customary classes for others too.
