Exam GUJCET 2024 will be conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB). The candidate gets admission in the engineering & technology (BE/B.Tech) and pharmacy (degree/diploma) courses with qualify for the GUJCET Examination 2024.

This examination will be held for admission in the government, self-financed institutions & grant-in-aid which are located in Gujarat.

Official Key Dates of the GUJCET 2024

Application Form 

1. Candidates can fill the application form only through the Online mode. http://gujcet.gseb.org. 
2. The registration process will start from the March 2024 last week.
3. The candidate has to pay the application fee of Rs. 300.
4. Uploaded photograph and Signature should be in the format of JPEG/JPG and also should be in 5Kb to 50Kb.
5. Aadhar card number must important at the time of filling the application form.
6. Applicant must have to note down the GUJCET 2024 application number for other users in the future.
7. The candidate should also take the print in A4 size paper for Future use.
8. If the candidate submits the application form and finds any mistake, then they can't correct the form.

Cut Off The List For Reserved Seats

• Disabled Category-3% seats
• ST category- 15% seats
• SC category- 7% seats
• Socially and Educationally Backward Classes- 27% seats
• Unreserved Economically Weaker Sections- 10% seats

Eligibility Criteria GUJCET 2024

There are different eligibility criteria divided for the different courses.

For Engineering

• The candidate has to pass 10+2 with 45% marks in Physics & Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects from recognized Board.
• Candidates who are appearing in the 12th can also apply.
• 40% qualifying marks for the SC/ST category candidates.

For Pharmacy

• Candidate should have 12th with 45% marks in the Physics & Chemistry and any one of these Subjects i.e. Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology from recognized Board for admission in the Degree courses in discipline Pharmacy.
• For SC/ST category students, Qualifying marks are 40 %.
• The candidate qualifies for the 10+2 examination in Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology from the recognized Board for admission in the Diploma Courses in Discipline of Pharmacy.

Exam Pattern And Syllabus Of The GUJCET 2024

Syllabus
The syllabus of the GUJCET 2024 examination will be consist of the 11th and 12th classes. There is include the topic of the Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology subjects.

Physics

gravitation, mechanics of solids and fluids, oscillations, waves, electrostatics, current electricity, magnetic effect of current and magnetism, electromagnetic induction and alternating current, optics, dual nature of matter and radiations, atomic nucleus, solids and semiconductor devices, Introduction and Measurement, description of motion in one dimension, description of motion in two and three dimensions, laws of motion, work, energy and power, heat and thermodynamics, the motion of a system of particles and rigid body rotation

Chemistry

chemical equilibrium, solutions, redox reactions and electrochemistry, chemical kinetics, surface chemistry, stereochemistry, Organic Chemistry, basic principles, purification and characterization of organic compounds, hydrocarbons, organic reaction mechanism.

Mathematics

Algebra, Logarithms, Matrices, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, 3-Dimensional Co-ordinate geometry, Theory of Calculus, Application of Calculus, Permutation and combination, Statistics and Probability.

Tips For The Candidate

Here we provide the Preparation tips for the Examination purpose. Follow these steps- 

1. Maintain the time for each subject and prepare a timetable for study.
2. Solve the sample papers and give the mock test for good preparation
3. Solve the 4-5 Years old question paper.
4. Divide the equal time into each subject for revision.

Examination Centers 

Answer Key GUJCET 2024

When the examination will be finished successfully then the University released the answer key of the examination. It will have come on the site in the month of May 2024.

The candidate can calculate the expected marks on the basis of the answer key. University provides the answer key in three languages which are English, Hindi, and Gujarati.

GUJCET Answer Key 

About The Result 

The applicant can view the Result and also download it on the month of May 2024 Fourth week. It will be available in online mode. To see the Result GUJCET 2024, the candidate needs the Application Number. University will prepare the Merit list which is based on the 60% marks of theory of class 12th and 40% marks of GUJCET entrance examination.

Admit Card GUJCET 2024

1. After the final submission of the application form, the University provides the Admit card to the applicant. They can download and access the admit card through the online mode.
2. Normally it will be updated on the site in the month of May 2024 tentatively.
3. Candidates who submit their application form only for those candidates admit card will be issued.
4. Read all instructions of the admit card for the examination carefully and also follow it.
5. It is mandatory to carry the admit card of the GUJCET 2024 in the examination hall. Without the admit card, the authority will not allow entry.
6. If the applicant finds any mistake or error in the admits card then immediately informed the official authority.

Counselling Process GUJCET 2024

The counseling process will be organized in the online mode which is held by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). According to the choice of the applicant in the application form, the University will be allotted the seat. There is also the university verify the certificates of the candidate so it is advised for the candidate to bring the required documents in the Counselling Process. Candidates who have passed the examination, only candidates are calling for the counseling process.
