Islamia College Admission 2023: In March 2023, Islamia College of Science and Commerce held an organized Pre-Admission 2023-34 counselling programme. Over the course of 10 days, 3500 students took part. To enable their acceptance into various programmes in the College in accordance with the guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020, they received thorough information on the many aspects of Admission 2023-24.

In August 2017, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council Bangalore (NAAC),which recognised the College's qualifications, reaccredited it at the "A" level with an institutional score of 3.27 GPA. Islamia College Admission 2023-24

Due to the increased student interest, the higher education department is thinking about creating an academic schedule that is in line with the national calendar. The Higher Education Department's move would greatly relieve the students' burdens by enabling them to compete at the national level and by allowing those students who attend schools that follow the CBSE curriculum to take part in the admissions process.

The Board results were announced in February 2023, and we are aware that students at Srinagar's Islamia College of Science and Commerce are eagerly awaiting for their admission. Islamia College Admission Process

The complete admissions procedure for B.Sc, B.Com, B.Com (Hons),BCA, and BBA first semester students, including the recently launched B.Sc-IT SEMESTER-1st Batch, is conducted online, making it convenient for students and hassle-free. The eligible applicants who wish to apply for admission to the College's UG B.Sc/B.Com/B.Com(Hons)/BCA/BBA programmes, as well as the recently, introduced B.Sc-IT SEMESTER-1ST programme, must read the instructions contained in this Admission Prospectus in order to complete the online application process. 

Islamia College Eligibility Criteria

Only students who have successfully completed their Higher Secondary examination (12th grade) with the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education, CBSE or an exam accepted as its equivalent by the University of Kashmir would be eligible for admission. For admission to new sessions in the Science stream, students must have earned a minimum of 45-50% in the case of open merit and 40-45% in the case of reserved categories. However, for BBA, BCA, B.Com(Hons) and B.Sc-IT candidates having obtained not less than 45-50% marks in case of open merit and 45-50% marks in case of reserved categories (in compliance with SROs issued). 

How to Apply for Islamia College Admission 2023?

There will be two stages to the online admission procedure. Before starting the online admission procedure, interested candidates must have a passport-sized photo in jpg/jpeg format that is between 6-50 KB in size (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) and a sample signature prepared in soft copy.

Stage 1:

• The student must go to the college official website, www.islamiaCollege.edu.in, to begin the process of submitting an application for online admission.
• Now go through the “instruction”, and click on the “apply button” to access the application form.
• Enter your  information completely in accordance with the Higher Secondary Education.
• Upload your passport size photograph and signature.
• An acknowledgement message with your name and enrollment number appears on the screen following the successful submission of your application.
• Now, print the application form and submit the hardcopy of the online admission form along with all relevant documents and admission fee.
• Students seeking admission to general education courses on a merit basis.

Stage 2:

For students seeking Islamia College admission in BBA/BCA/B.com/B.Sc-IT with Biochemistry and Biotechnology subjects

• After submitting a fully completed selection form, together with all necessary relevant documentation and the processing fee, to the college's admission office.
• The College Admission Committee will compile a selection list of candidates based only on merit after reviewing the selection forms and the certificates of 12th level grades. The selection status and the select list will be posted on the website of the college. Thereafter, the college will not accept any applications or requests. 
• The chosen candidates must complete their online admission forms and submit hardcopies of them to the college's admission section together with the necessary documents and admission fee within the time frame specified in the selection list.
• The college official website will be updated with the final date for receiving hardcopies of application  forms and the relevant documents in order to compile the merit list.
